Grooving tools ball serrating types

Strong joint between tubes and tube sheets is very important in manufacture of varios heat exchangers (boilers, steam generators, heat exchangers shell type, evaporators, condensers, preheaters, coolers).

Special treatment of tube sheet holes prior to tube installation and expanding is recommended for improved tightness and strength of the joints. Grooving tools of ball and serrating types are used for this. Ball-type grooving tools form circular jointing lugs, and grooving tools of serrating type make circular cuts in the holes.

We produce ball-bearing grooving tools of different series (RSH, RSHS, RSHR, and RSHM).

Ball-type grooving tools are selected according to tubes OD, whereby tube sheet holes are grooved before tube installing and expanding. RSH ball-type tools work on fixed depth, but other series tools let adjust this depth (RSHS and RSHR tools at range from 3 to 30 mm, RSHM from 10 to 70 mm.)

There are different models of serrating groovers, depending on tubes OD.
